  • I agree, that fish at 0:57 is singing!

  • okay so the reason you arent catching them is because they are to small i have the same expirence all the time while i fly fish on the ausable river in michigan move to like a size 12 hook and you will have better luck with those smaller trout

  • People who catch and release are my heroes.

  • @DukeLacroix I keep every trout I catch, over 9 inches, they are stocked for a reason, aint no fucking sense in releasing them, they are good eatin.

  • @caleb9608

Yeah, over 14" they don't taste as good as the smaller ones. youtube.com/user/almalfish?feature=mhsn

  • @almalfish yeah, i agree with you there, but it does depend on how you cook it

  • @caleb9608 Why not release them for the enjoyment of letting others catch them in the hope of them falling in love with fly fishing just like you did?

  • Thats more like a swamp then a river!!!!!

  • muito boa pescaria!

  • Where are you fishing? It looks like back East. I'm fishing in Colorado so it looks much different. Those are decent fish for dry flies.

  • omg... i would do anything to catch trout like this... how do i live in northern ontario and have no idea where to do this shit

  • nice fishing.

  • love watching trout hit

  • nice fish... i love to fly fish but the only thing i dont like about it is reeling in is a bitch! lol

  • iv never tried flyfishing it looks fun

  • 70 people missed the liked button.

  • It looks like the fish is singing at 0:57

  • @beboposaur he is:P:P:P:D

  • @beboposaur ha, it does

  • @beboposaur wow ur comments stink

  • @mcchicken442 i know right?

  • @beboposaur hahahaha

  • some advice...not good idea to wear white shirt when flyfishing for brown trout..norr fish downstream..best to cast upstream as trout face upstream and big, wary natural browns spook very easy.

  • @isciae very good advice, thx

  • @isciae i dont ware bright colors however, when fishing drys 90% of my hits occure down streem when the fly mimics 'take off' - i would like to see a vid of you mending and hooking up

  • thanks and will look at the vidios

  • whats the best fly fr trout

  • I have a question... why do my "dry" flies sink? My "floating line came with a darker colored 6 or 7 feet end to it that seems to sink and drag my fly under water. If this is WHY my flies are sinking is it ok to cut off the darker line and tie my lead to the yellow line that actually floats?

  • very nice video man....good fishing and safe handling of the fish....

    keep rockin´

  • Can you tell me the fly patterns you were using?? xx

  • where is that?

  • Where is this??

  • Awesome vid of a killer little stream

  • i've been fishing science i was what, 3? , i can make a my own flyes, but i still am trying to figure out fly fishing (its anoying trying to get your line out!)

  • It was good video, I'm new to fly fishing but, was pretty impressed with the roll cast and laying it that close to the opposite shore ..... I need to paractice ALOT I guess :D , Great Video !!

  • is that a creek in wyoming? looks familiar

  • have you ever tried foam spiders for trout...i dont have trout where im from, but i have caught bluegill, bass, crappie, redear sunfish, and pumpkinseed on them...i tie them myself usually...takes about a minute....i "invent" new flies all the time..i made a fly out of tan thread and hairs ear dubbing..on a scud hook,it looks like a beemoth,or some kind of larvae...works well from mid March-early May

  • There definately is a skill to cast with such finesse. I liked the roll cast up stream. Nice vid. Thanks for making it.

  • Was you wet fly fishing or dry fly?

  • they were topwater strikes so im guessing it was a dry fly

  • where is this?

  • andrew...Trout fishing is a sport...most places with WILD fish is iusually catch and release which measn the fish is unharmed and goes back in!!!

Places where you kill the fish will have been stocked!!!!

This means been grown in a huge tank with other fish being fed pellets!!!

And thousands of fish are in one tank!!!!

So they get bread to be killed !!!!!!

SO do some studying before you come and accuse theWORLDS MOST POPULAR SPORTof being cruel!!!!

  • Where is this vid made?

  • beauty brown, what province/state is this?

  • nice song nice catch

  • @ everyone who puts up ignorant crap about handling fish. They are tuffer than you think. Stop ragging on ppl that handle them. I personaly have seen fish with masive scars on them still swimming around. So just shut up and fish.

  • @LordMikkell Fish should be treated well and they are delicate, but I have to agree with you, they arent made of glass!

  • cool dog

  • nice fish there.

  • So lonely? At least you have lots of fish to keep you company! lol

  • that river is fucked

  • @h1n1v1rus stop projecting.

  • @h1n1v1rus Why???

  • Where is this river? It's full of trout!

  • Theres nothin like goin out for a day of fishing when no one else is fishing and its just you catching 7 plus trout

  • a lovely movie man!!! I love it!

  • Love it when the line goes taunt.

  • check my vids :D

  • put your hands in the water to cool them before picking up the fish hot hands is a shock to the fish use a landing net, nice fish

  • Thanks for that.

  • should use A landing net though

  • @blennypolypore not nesseceraly

  • how any tips you guys on youtube for fly fishing i really wanna' start ...... is it difficult

  • @ericlockley it takes a lot of practice, and a lot of money

  • @bman4225

ok dude ty for the info

  • 5***** video. Great job guys or gals.

  • good song

  • Nice fishing, like the way you treat them, good job.

  • nice man thats some good fish for stocked creeks

  • So lonely, The Police

  • hey bud good 4 looks like a nice little hole u have and if u wanna keep it that way i wouldnt tell anyone either! Good Job

  • nice fish!

how long is the leader you use?

  • Where would u recommend goin to catch some nice trout?

i think im headin to maine this year on vacation...

  • Scotland...

  • What is your experience level? Are you used to wild trout streams where eagles and other creatures fish, too. Can you cast and mend line . How about size of trout? Would 5-20 plus trout caught and released in the 10-16 inch range be a decent day? it is all relative. Most men know their local waters. The real trout flyfishermen can go anywhere without a guide.

  • never mind..i already know where im goin 4 vacation..im just starting out..im tying my own flys too, ive tyed marabou streamers (caught a nice bass on today)

black gnats, nymphs, spiders, and wooly buggers mostly...there are not many trout in indiana..

i fish for crappie, bluegill and bass mostly

if u tye flies and want a good pattern to try:

take a small scud hook and some grey rabbit hair dubbing and wrap the dubbing to make a grub/larvae looking body..i caught many gills with it

  • great video, and that is a nice little spot,it looks like you could catch fish there all day!!!

  • nice fish, nice spot, and nice song.

  • Thats a sick spot u got there man u should put a lil more info in tho.

Where is it and u showed a streamer but u seem to be running a dry fly lol.

  • that's a small muddler minnow..a streamer, yes..but a small version thereof

  • Who are you?

  • police:) love this song Video?"

  • troo bro

  • fish

  • andrew, from what i saw he did wet his hands before handling the fish. i'm sure those trout were fine, your the moron.

  • @cartretj1 Confucus say; Man who call other man "Moron" Have his "Your and You're" In correct form! HA HA XD

  • @cartretj1 it'd be fine even if he didn't wet his hands, I bare hand them all the time, the trick is minimize the time you handle it, it'll stress it out to hold it too long. wetting your hands just makes the fish more comfortable and less stressed.

  • you have no idea what in the hell your talking about.

  • well watch it again you idiot he did wet his hands and thats not a completely true statement

  • cada maquina de peixe

  • I LOVE THE POLICE!!!!!!!!!! best band eva!!!!!

  • 0:35 to 0:40 nice

and what state were you in?

  • My best guess is that he is throwing a streamer (probably a leech pattern - or similar in white or cream)...

That little stream holds quite a few fish..

It's similar to a stream that runs through Twin Falls Idaho called Rock Creek.. Slow, off color water but a ton of brownies that runn a 1/2 lb to a lb and a 1/2...

  • hey are you into fishing i go off the surf (jones beach, west end jetties)

  • thats insane! nice fish man. reminds me of the great north woods in NH

  • where is that

  • what state is this in? and are those native browns? good fishing btw and nice spot
