@jovocoenn German is your native language? If so, then I'm sure you know that zuerst = first, meinen = mine, Mann = man or husband. I only took four years of German, so I'm not great at it, which is probably why what I wrote in german didn't make much sense, haha.

Actually, what he`s showing is genius. He takes the simplest beat at a very workable tempo and moves it around the drumset - each time mixing more and more interesting sounds. He switches bass drums and switches his sticking from right hand to left hand pattern on the last bit. Played live this simple beat will please everyone all night. If you look- he`s selected equipment carefully and is willing to keep it simple- a sign of someone who`s mastered it.

Using experience from drumming

I speak German so Dutch is easy to understand and Danish is pretty much German+Dutch

So from what I understand (In actual english words he says) is Hihat+China = Jungle hihat for him

And basically also what I said in the comment I wrote before this

He says that he combines a China cymbal, with a splash - the splash has to fit "inside" the china. :-)

Makes a sort of distortion hihat.

Well...isn't the amen break a pretty good starting point for jungle and dnb drumming? It's a tutorial after all...the amen is fairly simple and didn't that break pretty much start it all?

Oh yeah...why don't you crank out a tutorial with something other than the amen break if it bothers you.
