When it said Dance Meme I thought it ment "Get Down" and I was like "OHMIGOSH How is it physically possible for someone to play THAT?!" But then I saw it was Caramelldansen and was slightly dissipointed... then saw that the speed it was played at was faster than the speed of sound, and it left me jawdropped.

@1TTFN1 Ever since I learned how to play the piano, I've become aware it's not hard to play, most songs have patterns and more over the harder the song you play the easier harder songs become in my case "Those who fight further" You can tell how good a player is by the way they play/mistakes playing the song right doesn't make you a prodigy it's also the way to play it like this vid.

To say the thruth, the speed may be impressive, but just like he/she said in the info box, this is not really that high speed.

are you fast forwarding on your video? looks like it, espicially when ywatching your wrists..they move to rapid left and back when you use your pinky. also some lifts of oyur hands looks really wierd...

please read the info description before making an outrageous assumption. There was no editing applied to this video besides the title and fading. Watch some even faster piano videos before you say make any claims about this; pianists' hands go crazy all the time performing spectacular stunts. Remember that when you fast forward a video, it distorts the audio as well. This has to be played back at the real speed at which it was recorded to sound authentic.

there is programs to fix the distortion of speeded videos. ive watched the two videos which you recomend for the speed issue. the first guy looks odd. everything moves fast, even his chin and leggs.. to that dont convince me. the japanese guy however has a slow moving lef and the fast hands at the same time so that one is true.

it might be just your camera settings. you know, a slow fps makes it appear as if your a cheating since there will be "gaps" in your movement. increasae fps next time :)

the real question here is WHY would people want to cheat in the first place. Everyone who plays the piano professionally especially to such a degree of complexity would definitely be making public live performances, and the truth would have easily came out then. You need to evaluate the logic and motivation behind the art of music. We musicians perform because it expresses us and we enjoy it.
