we do alot of this room clearing, its awesome as hell, iam 150 pounds and i wear a flak kevlar gas mask, dual armed and i weigh about 205 fully tacted ya thats alot of weight but i can manage no matter my size, its all about constent training and heart that pushes a fatass my size to wear all this gear. I agree with DSACRAWLER on this fact fatasses cannot be accepted when demands reguire a fit individual to carry 60 pounds of gear and still perform like swat.
Some are just obese, that's NOT from the gear. They're just civilians tho, or "Police Officers" as they like to call themselves, so it's not as if they're expected to perform like Navy Seals or Army Special Forces..

@DSACRAWLER It is impossible for an overweight, unfit person to be accepted into an armored team of any kind, much less wear and carry all that armor and equipment. It is also very uncomfortable for any overweight cop to wear a standard duty belt. S)pecial W)eapons A)nd T)actics they are usually deployed when the normal police department can't handle the situation, example if the suspect is heavily armed such as having an ( AK47 ) or critical situations such as hostage situations that noram PDs can't handle, they are just trained for more harsh situations. :P
good luck with that! Being in SWAT may be badass but it takes a lot of skill and hardwork. You have to be handpicked in your current Law Enforcement Agency to be even available to be elligible to be one of them. Then you must go through rigorous training and weapons performance drills until you are added to a district. Once a district adds you you have monthly training and then you are finally a member of the paramilitary organization, SWAT.
