  • 90s win every time sorry, some of the kids show these days are so silly compared to the 90s

  • RUGRATS ARE THE BEST

  • Oh and the majority of these Hanna Barbera cartoons were on way *before* the 90s (and the *80s*, for that matter)

  • To those who have mentioned some cartoons which were made by Hanna Barbera (Scooby Doo, the Flintstones, the Smurfs, Johnny Bravo, Top Cat and Popeye), one Hanna Barbera show *I* miss is 'Laff-a-Lympics'; I liked two members of the Really Rottens 'Dinky Dalton' and 'The Great Fondoo' and one of the Yogi Yahooeys 'Wally Gator'.

  • You forgot the Junglies!

  • Oh and Henry's Cat and The Family Ness. Even The Shoe People and Budgie the Little Helicopter.

  • @dannymdowling Henry's Cat (show featuring Chris Rabbit) was a show of the *80s*, not the 90s (it definitely did have *re-runs* in the 90s, though), as were The Family Ness (and two *other* related shows - Penny Crayon and Jimbo and the Jet Set) and The Shoe People.

  • @dannymdowling Yes, one of the 90s shows *I* liked! I especially liked Penny Parrot, Geraldine Giraffe and Zoe Zebra (I liked Marvin Monkey in the sense that even *he* once became a victim to one of Sebastian Snake's practical jokes, most people who remember the show would like Tyrone Tiger, the leader, Albert Alligator was quite a popular character and most people would especially like Ethel Elephant and Henrietta Hippo).

  • The Moomins?

  • ive been looking for oakie doke for ages. couldnt remember the name of it.. was describing it to my mates and they all thought i was going mad :L Thanks 6 years of not knowing what it was and you helped

  • Where's The Further Adventures of Superted?

  • Rupert the bear?

  • Mash Potato :D

  • Also you forgot Fourways Farm.

  • What about Letterland?! You could had had that in this video.

  • I mean you could have had it instead of Barney.

  • What do I mean by that? I mean I hate Barney the Dinosaur. He's the worst children's character ever.

  • SOOTY! <3 HIM SO MUCH HE IS THE CUTES MY MUM GOT ME A VIDEO WITH SOOTY AND THE RAGGY DOLLS!

  • if anyone is intrested. on facebook i am running a 90's kids tv facebook page with a list of shows in the info section and also photo albums A-Z with a picture of all the shows in the list and information on them. at the end of facebooks url put in /pages/90s-Kids-TV/111975052188153

  • Great video btw. Great memories, nice choice of song also.

  • I never realized as a child that all(or most) of the characters in the Raggy Dolls are voiced by one guy.

  • We had the BEST shows!

  • I love this song!

  • this just made me smile, im only 15 but remember most of these!

  • Good old nostalgia, what fantastic programs we had back then!

  • :O Zzzapp!<3

  • I used to love all these! Some other ones I remember, that are not i this video are: Rosie and Jim, Animals on The Shelf, The Queen's Nose, Demon Headmaster and some more I forgot! :D xx

  • @KachinaWarriorMewMew Julia Jekyll and Harriet Hyde? Yes *that* was a show of the 90s, which beats *today's* shows! Oh and don't forget 'Out of Tune'; I can't find *anything* of that show *anywhere* online :( I liked the *theme tune*.

  • @KachinaWarriorMewMew The two characters I liked in Julia Jekyll and Harriet Hyde were Memphis Rocket (played by Simon Green) and Lester Blister (I preferred his *original* actor - Robert Portal).

  • Brings back so many memories , the theme tunes just make me cry , especially Bear In The Big Blue House , Good Bye Song :'( <3

  • OMFG FORGOTTEN TOyS. I REMEMBER THAT.

  • pipin???

  • I just had a debate with my 11 year old brother over the 90's vs 00's. I was born in 1990, and him in 2000, and it's really strange how different it is. The 90's was flawless, but watching this makes me feel ancient!

  • @smidget25 90s will always win!! xD lol i find it funny looking at how basic and poor quality the programmes were but back then it was amazing lol

  • @xdannibabesx IMO, the best three decades were the 80s (though I was only born in the *last* three years of the 80s), 90s (the *first* three years of the 90s were *excellent* years, 1993-1996 were good years especially with their series of 'Stars in their Eyes', IMO, the 90s began going downhill after my ninth big day in 1996 and the only good thing about the *last* three years of the 90s were *their* series of Stars in their Eyes)

  • @xdannibabesx and the early 2000s (2000 was a good year, especially with its March-May series of Stars in their Eyes, 2001 was a good year from Monday January 1st to Wednesday April 11th and 2002 was a good year from Saturday June 1st to until after my fifteenth big day that year).

  • @smidget25 Same with me and my little sister, I was born in 1989 and her in 2001. 90s were so much better than the 00s. I can't believe how children with the same parents can have such different childhoods. My other sister was born in 1990 too so we practically had the same childhood, but my youngest sister's childhood sucked compared to ours lol

  • SOOTY!!! :D

  • wow, I watched so many of them... the 90s was the best decade to grow up in, in my opinion

  • @animegirls4evar i agree, i've lived through the 90's and the 00's, and i gotta say it the 90's for the win. how could you beat a little bit of animals of farthing wood after a day of school? you just cant.

  • lift off and playschool were my favourites

  • wow zzzap theres a memory!

  • @lightingthefire You said it! ZZZap! was yet *another* good show of the 90s (especially featuring Daisy Dares You)

  • how about reading rainbow?

  • What about Brambly Hedge?!

    And Joshua Jones.

    OHHH. And 'Old Bear'.

  • You forgot Thomas the tank engine!!!!!

  • Im sure clangers was

  • @coolcatawsome that was 80s

  • was pingu in the 90's?

  • thats just bought back soo many happy memories of the mornings before school

  • dennis has a yorkshire accent now

  • @actresstobe1408 Dennis is also played by a woman, as far as i know anyway... :s

  • wa about little monsters

  • i miss the old programmes too :/ its a shame they are all turning 3d like barney and noddy or being banned like funnybones and the raggy dolls

oakiedoke and zzzap! were my favorites :D

  • @xdannibabesx Funnybones has been banned!? =O I have the theme tune on my phone

  • @JoRowlingRocks Thats what ive heard, apparently it was banned because it was unsuitable for children because of they are skeletons but i find it silly

  • @xdannibabesx (and JoRowlingRocks), when my family had a power outage on Saturday December 24th 1994 at night (when we were in the middle of watching and even *taping* 'An American Tale Fievel Goes West'), I remember we told ghost stories and *my* story I told was even 'Funnybones'. Of *course* it's silly to ban an innocent show just because of what it *featured*. The skeleton trio was even *friendly*.

  • @Chunkatty

babar is on still! now my daughter watches it!

  • I knew this video was missing something, as soon as I saw the Wombles lol I knew the title should be called UK 90s shows because only about 3 of these come from the u.s

  • Kids TV today is nothing compared to kids TV back in the 90's

Back in the 90's we had shows like Fun House UK, Oakie Dokie and Tots TV
