I used to walk down from the Imperial Palace to Starbucks. Its a great avenue to enjoy a neighborhood. Nice people also. Makes me want to get back soon.
we all seem to be missing this place as soon as we leave.i used to walk the same avenue,and yes people always friendly and its always beautiful.i married there and then as soon as my new wife and i got back to the usa after 6 years of marriage.she cheated.(shes chinese,by the way) but i look back at going to philippines as the best times.i fell in love with it.i may have lost a wife.but i will never lose philippines.
my gosh they do sound alike!!! couples are like that though. i'm filipino and my partner is québécois. we speak french but i've taken on his accent and losing my academic french accent.
I was in Tomas Morato March 2009. We went to Iceberg and Clowns. So much has changed in that area since I left in 1993.
