  • omfg ur pro

  • you fools its Night on Bald Mountain

  • Yeah dude! Nice! Justice actually uses Garage Band in studio, along with Cubase. Good ears!

  • Well, they did say they used Garage Band to make Cross!

  • Do you think that "Suspense Accent 06" from Garageband is the only sample ever to contain violins playing those notes?

    I sincerely doubt it.

  • Why cant it be Night on Bald Mountain?

  • The Other sample is David Shire: Night On Disco Mountain

  • Nice work dude but like most of you it seems im trying to find out where the sample is really from. just watched this video (its pretty shit) but IM SURE that the sample is on the last 3 seconds or so of the video. its only 11 secs long so have a listen and tell me what you think. --- search "real squirrel knocks down fake squirrel" on metavideo --- like i said IM ALMOST CERTAIN its this one!

  • anyone knows the vocal sample?

  • dude what's more astounding than your nearly recreating it was the fact that you recognized it from its original form! that's a damn fine ear you have there

  • for some reason i thought the "Jaws theme" was the sample

  • hi man can you explain reverse sidechain please ut'es really important i know normal sidechain with compressor but i don't know what is reverse sidechaining ???

    Pleaseeeee

  • @mute13014 reverse sidechain was really just a term I was using here... its when the volume starts out full on the sample, but goes all the down at the end.. pretty much the reverse of regular sidechaining. I did it here to a 16th beat.

  • modest mussorsky

  • for everyone whose hating on garage band, and denying the face that they would not use this, are ratarded. They said in an interview that they used garage band a lot in their production and recording. THey said the simplicity of the program made their work flow smooth and was easy to grasp. This is the sample they used. nice find magna.

  • check my remake i did in my channel it's name is rec 2. be my friend?

  • good work, buts its not a sample justice wouldnt use some stupid suspence accent 06 in a garage band library to make a smash hit XD

  • @Technoman155 haha you'd be surprised, they used a radio tuning sound from garageband in D.A.N.C.E. There are also garageband synths and sounds in their remix of Human After All.

  • @iammagna ...and i doubt they use garage band--- they probaby use some dj program that actually costs something--- like ableton live

  • @Technoman155 whose to say they dont use more than one. ive talked to them and alot of their stock sounds come out of garageband jam packs.

  • @iammagna haha yeah i agree...definitely heard DANCE in that radio tuning sound. garageband sounds = money saved

  • @iammagna:

The radio tuning sample is from I Wish by Skee-Lo.

  • @Technoman155 LOL thats where you fail, good artists never rule out samples regardless of where they cam from

  • @JASSIELtm i know but i found another sample from d.a.n.c.e. its the radio thing i dont remeber wut its called

  • @Technoman155 And Garageband samples are loyalty-free. You can use them on anything and not have to pay Apple. You would be surprised at how MANY places I have heard them!!! LOTS of tv shows and ads!!

  • @Technoman155 Also the piano version of we are your friends on A Cross The Universe, totally just two piano pieces found in Garage band. Yes, justice used Garage band. Hell they made Cross in their basement practically.

  • @Technoman155 if you can turn a stupid suspence accent into a powerful smash hit then why not? just takes a bit more talent

  • It's not an origanal song and I'm prety sure they used "night on a disco mountain" by David Shire

  • @slssean The sample for "Night on Disco Mountain" by David Shire can be heard at about 1:45 in the video. That sample has been known for a while, but the intro sample was not known.

  • haha, yeh man, they have taken a few apple/garage band samples. you know that the radio intro for d.a.n.c.e is from garage band too? i can't be bothered finding it, but its there!

  • The only difference between you and Justice is that Justice makes fuckin' awsum versions of any sample or what you want. I think it's why they are a great band.

  • You go Magna!

  • The pitch is way wrong. Fix that and you MAY have found the sample.

  • Inaccurate recreation, but DAMN nice find. This our sample, most definitely. Nice ;D

  • Deadmau5 also used this in his live intro in 2008. Just check out his set at Radio 1's Big Weekend.

  • haha... if you listen closely, hes playing other garageband loops too...

  • @iammagna YOU KNOW THAT STRESS WAS ORGINALY THE WORK OF THOMAS BANGALTER OF DAFT PUNK? AND THAT JUST DID AN ELECTRO REMAKE

  • @BLAZE45 wut -_-'

  • @BLAZE45 wait, if stress was originaly a daft punk song, whats the name of the original? and can i find it?

  • @1devo6587 STRESS BY THOMAS BANGALTER

  • BADASS! good job :D 5/5

  • justice uses a lot of garageband stuff :P

    prez

  • Awesome find! You just reminded me how bad ass that song really is! :D 5/5

  • I think you've got it =D

  • Sounded right to me. ^_^
