The popular "lie" being used by the military, is that if you join, you'll end up with a better life.
I say "lie", because most of the people I know who served didn't benifit at all! They didn't get money for college, the jobs they have suck, and most of them became drug addicts or alcoholics! So how is that better?
Peace is patriotic. Well, not always. The war in Iraq is not as stated in the Constitution (not directly). The Constitution wants peace and wars only in times to protect the country. I'm tired, ignore this comment but I will still post it.

i saw these guys at the parade when i was marching with my unit, they didnt salute the colors when our color guard walked past and that did it for me, if they want peace support our troops so they can mash the fuck out of iraq and mercy that country into peace

US & its allies are unable to digest the food they eat since Pakistan's evolvement as an Atomic Power. But the irony is that they are not interested in solving the Kashmir Issue, main cause of Pakistan and India's becoming atomic powers. They just want corruption resulting in mismanagement and chaos in the area. Are they so afraid of this area?

Well it's obvious why the Vets for Peace couldn't march in the D.C. Memorial Day Parade. All you have to to do is listen to the sponsors, all prime military contractors.
Peace is not in the best interest of the military contractors.
Is that why a person can be a proudly prejudiced patriot? I suppose then that nationalistic types like to toss around the word patriot, since it seriously confuses things. I think it is a mistake to think that the country asks people to step up. The financially interested try to force people to step up. In my case there was a federal prison option when i turned 18.
America focuses on its military far too much to care about its rights.

Only thing that brings us together = Super Bowl
