No, the L-39 does not have an afterburner. But it will do .8 mach if it doesn't have wing tanks. I don't know about going that fast 15 feet off the deck though. I wonder what plane that was on touchdown at 4:05 with the dual main wheels...?

Albatros does not have afterburner.
The guy says something like: "Ok, full burner.." if I understand right. So I guess he just means he speeds up to maximum for low lvl flight.
