I think MK Annihilation gets a bad rap. Of course, Bridgette Wilson and Christopher Lambert did not come back for it, and Johnny Cage got killed off way too early in the film. And the animalities were just ridiculous. On the plus side, it incorporated a lot of new characters from the game. On the downside...er, everything else.

I am all for MK 3, be it a fresh/continuing story or a reimagining of the original MK 1. Please, do not blow it this time like in the first sequel.
