The plane is a Goldberg Wild Stick 1.20 ARF. I was going to get one but they discontinued them before I could. And with the right engine and pilot it will do 3D. Do a search on youtube for "Wild Stick crash".

the 3d means that the plane is able to hover and that it can do 3d manuvers .... like really fast barrel rolls .... quick loops ... knife edge flying... basicly means its a stunt plane ....

3D flying is where you're no longer relying on the wing to provide the lift that keeps the model in the air. 3D models rely on the engine-thrust to keep them aloft when doing maneuvers such as hovering, harriers, hi-alpha knife-edge etc. Do a YouTube search for "mojo 60 moass mod-2" and you'll see what I mean. There's no way the Big Stik 3D could do any of that -- lost of manufacturers like to erroneously use the term 3D when there planes are just plain old sport aerobatic designs.

@xjet The control surfaces run very close to the fuselage on the wings of a stick. At least it does on my Super Stick. That helps control it in hover. I have a Hangar 9 trainer motor attached to the airframe right now. I can tell you this much,it hovers at about 70% throttle and is fully capable of sitting there until the fuel runs out. It is tricky, the plane likes to rotate, but just turn off your expos when you go vertical and it can be accomplished.
