The police had every reason to tell him to get out of the car. He was at a border crossing and the police dogs responded to his vehicle. They spoke calmly to him and gave him plenty of time to act responsibly. When he failed to peacefully exit his vehicle they responded. GOOD FOR THE POLICE!

He is correct on what the Constitution says, however, there are other state laws in place to allow for a lawful search of a vehicle in circumstances where you do not give permission. Take that up with your elected officials. This is not an argument to be had on the side of the road with other citizens doing their jobs. to everybody dissing cops and our judicial system: No it ain't perfect there are corrupt police, judges, and others in the system...But i would say that they make up a small majority otherwise the country would be in even worse shape. Do you propose we just do away with Police, Courts, Border Patrol, Military, FBI and anything else that has a hand in enforcing laws and protecting us?
