man it looks and sounds super sick but with out the nitrous my 3sgte turbo mr2 would eat that my car was all stock but i was running 15-18 psi and was est. 250- 300 hp and ran mid 13's in a 1/4 mile

Hmm, the yellow car is the same body (roughly the same weight as yours--possibly lighter due to aluminum engine) pushing 300hp or 500 on NOS, and in either case more torque because its a supercharged V6. I really doubt your mostly stock 3S would beat it in a 1/4 mile. My own 3S powered 93T is pushing those kind of numbers (260hp at the crank, 227 at the wheels on a dyno), and this yellow car is much faster.

@cbulen I believe this. I live in Okinawa and have a gen 3 swapped 92 with a stupid amount of money into it. long story short i run 25 psi on a forged engine with a full Hydra Nem. standalone. I dyno'd 522 hp and 428 ft lb tourqe. i feel that we could have a good race

Not sure. I am not that familiar with the Gen3. I would check the MR2 forums. If you can pass smog, I would go with the 3VZ + Turbo = Supra TT killer!

Unfortunately, its not possible to answer this. It depends on cost of engine, which transmission you use, cost of transmission, cost of installation, cost of misc parts. You need a passenger (right) side mount--either custom or some MR2 forum guys make them. Which flywheel? this is partially custom. Which clutch? Are you doing your own labor? ECU sorting is a big expense as well.

Where are you going to get the TRD supercharger (no longer offered by Toyota)? YOu need to machine a groove into the MR2 turbo axle intermediate shaft. As you can see, way to many variables. Go to the MR2 forums and look for the V6 section. There you will find V6 swap projects. Sometimes they talk about costs.

Why in the description does it say 500+hp when the article about this car states 300whp with a 9-psi pulley and that's on water/meth to no doubt keep it from getting detonation...

Its 300 hp without NOS. On NOS it makes 500hp, according to the articles that I have on this car.

Alright! My mate supposedly has a 4.0supercharged mr2 that does 190mph but obviously don't believe this. Apparentely I am going to have the pleasure of having a ride in this motor next week after it has been lowered further and should then be pushing the magical 200mph. Can't wait but feel as if I am going to be let down somewhat as I have been made aware that this chap does not even have a driving license lol Like your vid though! 3S-GE Japan and UK only, 2.0L NA engine

5S-FE= USA, 2.2L inline 4, NA, also used in Camry
