Frito Lay paid grocery store chains big bucks back in the 80's and 90's for shelf space in prominent locations. Their chips are good, but they basically muscled the little guys out of contention.
Yeah. It's very hard to boycott them when they own the monopoly on potato chips. I try to support Pringles or other independent brands as much as I can.

Anyways, the closest chips i've found are TGIF'S PIZZA CHIPS. I've found them in Dollar Tree. I like them. Has anyone else tasted them? Do you agree it's close to the pizzerias taste? While not exactly, the closest thing out there?

If you like pizza flavored stuff, try the Pepperidge Farm Pizza Goldfish (I love those).

Combos also has a Pizza flavor as well as a Pepperoni flavor, the latter of which is harder to find now in NY/NJ.
I have to try the TGI Friday's chips.

I totally agree with the TGIF chips being the closest tasting to Pizzarias, and oddly enough I found them at a dollar tree also.
Other than the TGIF chips no other snack food even comes close to the taste of Pizzarias, and I try every pizza flavored snack I come across
