I bought the car as it is.. all factory cats and resonators still in place. Blew a torque converter seal on the car, so when i drop the trans, ill have to pull most of the exhaust system, so it will be straight pipe right to the flowmasters.. ill post new vids when its drivable again
@ryns99 i dont want to sound like an asshole but our gen 3 v8s depend heavily on back preasure...dont think that ford made it was stumbled upon by several sho owners that have proved it. from the headers to the tips. dont ever get rid of the original tips unless you can replace them with some thing equivalent in off-set. i just realized that this is 2 years old...lol
who cares what model,it sounds terrible v8 or not, you gotta start from the manifold back to get the sound youre after not two into one back out too two??
sounds like a V8 to me doing it the way you ask would require a lot of fabrication as there is not much room to instal a true dual setup on these cars
gotta love that yamaha v8

It sounds ok. Did you remove the third cat and resonator, or just put on the mufflers? flowmaster series 40 are the best option for the v8 sho.

All I recommend is an H pipe and MAYBE longtube headers if you got the money. But the H pipe will make you blow your load when you hear the sound.

H-pipes are only for true duals, the SHO's exhaust is combined into a single pipe and then split before the mufflers by a Y-pipe.
