On another note, I hope he's in the next DKC game. Granted, I didn't beat DKCR, but it's still a fun game without the Kremlings. But, with that said, I still think they should return someday because anthropomorphic crocodiles are just more interesting than enemies made out of wood in my opinion. Also, King K. Rool is a beloved character by both Nintendo fans, gamers, America and Japan. He shouldn't just be left out and eventually fade into obscurity, like other characters with Nintendo.

They probably seriously considered putting him in Brawl, but I think the main issue with that was that (including Diddy) it would have caused them to add TWO characters from one series, and DK is not exactly their biggest seller in this day and age. No other series got TWO extra characters. Not even Mario.

Also, on a similar note...there are MUCH more popular characters than King K. Rool. Like I said, DK isn't a HUGE seller. Having the two main characters of the series in SSBB was enough.

K. Rool would have been a great addition to Brawl (along with being another villain, seriously only 3 villains for Brawl?), and easy to do. Hell, they could have made him 4 different characters (King, Kaptain, Baron and Krusher) and had enough B moves for each (all four aliases have at least 4 moves to make B moves, the A moves are easy enough to do: punches, kicks, headbutts, claw swipes, bashes with the gun, etc).

Sakurai was just too lazy to do it.
