I fail to understand how "disciples" think they can express it better, more clearer, than their teacher. I Am That is a mindblowing work. Get it first hand rather than the diluted version.

@bubbagogo I have read I am That, and it is a great book. But in many cases it's not as direct and easy to understand as Woolinky's teachings.

Remember, even Maharaj was a discipline of a teacher. Perhaps he should not have taught either?

By the way, there are other methods, I saw a video by a Tibetan Lama tsemtulku, who shares many self-improvement methods like in Tsem Rinpoche getting JEALOUS at Mac!!!!!!, which I find surprisingly modern and related to what you are sharing. to me stephen wolinsky is totally aware that he is just describing the "shadow of the moon on the water", obviously not the moon itself. words are very powerful and of course limited, yet pointers in the right direction. he is in line with the tradition and the more profound the teaching the simpler are the statements. in fact the apparent paradoxes of life are the gates to the heart. i do not claim to have realised anything, i do not have the slightest glimpse of what realization is. thank you!
