i'm making a doom fan remake thingy, does anybody have a good mp3 download for the shotgun sound? with the one i have right now, the sound is too short, which cuts off the animation, and in turn makes the shotgun like a machine gun....

doom=awesome. Also, a good way to play doom 1 & 2, is to download vba, and the gba game roms, and play them on vba...

@NoelKitonian A Better way is to get Skulltag(I Prefer that anyway) and play it like that.

oh, and the best shotgun from any game is the sawed off shotgun from blood, as much as I like doom, bloods shotgun is alot cooler and more balanced.

@Max16032 I have got one of these in real life... i certainly can't load as quick as it seems to take in the game though and firing both barrels simultaneously generally results in extreme bruising to my shoulder lol

@soggyweed That's because when it came out flaws for games weren't properly established. Like for example, and shooter today might have a review saying, the shotgun didn't feel powerful enough compared to other shooters, but it might be more powerful than dooms shotgun, but when doom came out they had nothing to compare it to, it was THE best shotgun at the time. Nowa days however...

@soggyweed sucks that the fanbase for it makes it look bad.

I hate the SSG, its retardedly over powered online and thats all those noobs use. It litterally kills in one shot, and you cant dodge it!

And dont even get me started on the forums for doom....

sigh, such a great game, but the fanbase, God so help me if i see someone from doomworld in real life, I won't even hesitate to push him in front of a car.

What are you talking about?

SSG is all over the place online so every player can play with it unlike plasma and bfg those are noob weapons SSG takes skill if you are little of you miss and you can miss alot because its fast gameplay.
