They do suck... and for trivia, the group who did the background singing for the Partridge Family, also sang over groups and blended harmonies, as they do in this song. Its so clear that the kids in the back are lip synching, because they didnt sound good on their own. The singers are John and Tom Bahler, Jackie Ward and Ron Hicklin. Its on one of the Partridge fan sites which profiles the backups to David and Shirley.

true that the moves are the same, but if you think about it, those were the moves of the 70s, they all did the same stuff. and about the nightmare part, your right on target there too but look who the target audience was. pre-teens who didnt give a rats a** about content and whos priority was who was the cutest. my boyfriend gave me this record when i was 15 and when we broke up, i was so heartbroken i couldnt listen to it. so it has not so good memories for me.
