  • If Shea butter is dark yellow.. It's not unrefined, they have added something to it. A pale yellow, thick smooth butter is the real thing. It will melt in your hand. It's worth ordering online..

  • How is the shea butter working for your stretch marks? Because I have them also...I need help.

  • Well honestly i havent been consistant with putting it on my stretch marks but it does moisturize them well and stop it from itching. for some reason my stretch marks itch..lol

  • Oh. They need to make a true product to make stretch marks go bye bye. Well thank you for the response girl. I want me some sheabutter anyways lol. How much do you pay for yours? What does the real stuff look like?

  • lol..i know...if they had a product to get rid of stretch marks i'd be all over it!!....u can get a 1lb container for about $6...if you buy in bulk it is cheaper though...you can find it online...it will be either white or yellow, clumpy and hard.

  • Where did you get yours from?

  • from a local beauty supply store...u can check one out near you, but be sure to look for 100% pure unrefined shea butter.

  • good video

  • I whip some shea butter recently for the first time. I used 3 differnet oils but I thik I put to much of all 3, next time will just put a tablespoons of them. Shea butter is already oily without over doing it. Cool video!

  • yeah ive made more batches and changed a few things since this but you definitely have to watch how much oil you put into it b/c it can get really oily.

  • yee you can whip shea with anything. just dont go heavy on the oils as you want more shea butter in the finished product.

i always mix it with coconut oil and aloe vera, great for skin and hair, use it daily.

  • Cool video. :)

  • thanks!

  • good luck with that. Whipped shea butter creates MASSIVE buildup on my hair and makes it hard, thick and crunchy!

  • well i'll see what it does for mines...if i dont like it in my hair, its already been great for my skin!

  • oh yes! its great on my skin. I'm dry as a snake LOL
