I remember these playoffs. I was 15 at that time and Serbian television was broadcasting semifinal and final. During previous few seasons i have wrote 2 letters (there wasn`t Internet at that time) to Utah Jazz asking for John Stockton signature... Unfortunately they haven`t sent me. I new everything about Jazz and Jazz history, players history... So it when Jazz played Rockets at game 7, it was 6am and i didn`t care because my school is starting at 7am, i was watching this game!
Mark Eaton ( 0:45 ) is an interesting story as well. After high school, he went to work as a mechanic for a few years before he was "discovered" by someone who got hiim to enroll at UCLA. But, while playing for UCLA, he barely got any minutes at all. The Jazz took a chance at him, and it paid off. It doesn't hurt that he's 7'4".
