ONE question, how many cc's is it? how do you start it? what is the horse power? how long did it take to make? what gap are you running the spark plug? what's degrees is the diesel injection BTDC? is it naturally aspirated? is it 4 stroke? can i congratulate you on the model?... yes i can :)
@fingerspies I can answer all your questions. its not a real engine. is leg driven by an plug in motor. diesels dont use spark plugs and if you read the titles is 4 stroke
I guess so, but don't remember that exactly. But did you notice the camshaft rotates at the same speed as the crankshaft? It is not a 4-stroke engine at all. Actually it is just a rotating thing, but is was fun to build!
its not a wankel rotary, its just a rotary, the crank case spins, it was used on old ww1 planes, they control the speed by powering different amounts of cylinders, having said that, it would be cool to make a model of a wankel engine :)
amazingly cool Lego engine! now all you need to do is build a Lego car! it would take me about 2-5 years to finish making a car with opening doors that is lifesize!
Can you make instructions
LegoPlayer123 3 months ago
@LegoPlayer123 For me, making instructions is too time consuming. I rather be building with real bricks, so the answer is no.

not 4 stroke...and its not 4 cylinders, sorry
POPCORN454545 1 year ago
Its run off an electronic motor so there is no spark plug, no cc's, no HP, but it is just a model of a four stroke inline 4 engine. no gas or fuel.

that has more power than my prius
aaronzack14 1 year ago
It's driven by a Lego 9V motor.

little test: did you make it to have the firing order 1,3,4,2? ;)

Just asking : why have it fore 1342? and not just 1234?
bedeone 2 years ago
That's typical in every combustion engine, because when cylinders fires in 1234-order forces on crank can damage it easily.

I made a lego 2 cylinder rotary engine before :)
vanepico 3 years ago
You have any photo's or video of this rotary engine?
marinusk01 3 years ago

yeah, do you have any photos? I love wankels, I just didnt think that they could be made from lego.
dasmiffy5 3 years ago
hes talking about a radial engine, not a rotary.

oh, thanks for clearing that up
