We found Paulie in 2002 in front of our door step as a baby with a broken wing. i was taking out the trash, and then Paulie was standing right at the door step, looked at me, and then walked right between my legs into our house and starting eating the crumbs in our kitchen floor. Paulie is FAT and mean, and still believes there is a way to get to the sexy pigeon he sees in the mirror everyday.

Darn... I'm torn between getting a ringneck dove or a pigeon. Pigeons seem to have more spunk in general, have a charming, bubbly coo, and they have a lovely stocky form. On the other hand, ringnecks laugh, seem to be more gentle and affectionate, and I love the natural brown coloration...

The pigeon's bubble inside the neck is so soft and fluffy! One of most pleasant actions is to feel this bubble when the pigeon is blowing it, and feel the vibrating throat inside the bubble, with sound of cooing.
If the pigeon allow you to touch him(her) inflated bubble in the time of cooing, that means he(she) is very trust you.
My pigeon Pipi is madly in love with Dinkster! She will hog the computer all day making us replay his videos so she can strut on the keyboard and look behind the speakers and monitor for him :P You and the Dink are a household favorite now!
