@Counterbrilliance Put 'em in places like Chicago, Wisconsin, mini-soda and Seattle, and I think they'll work out just fine ;). I'm willing to try it!
I live in Virginia and I love Tim Horton's. If that and coffee crisps make it down here I'd probably...smile. And then buy some stuff. And then smile again.
I asked a few students from the US that came to Germany a few years ago, no one knew Tim Hortons, my friend who lives close to the border to Canada knows it though!
You have no idea how much Tim Hortons gets consumed on an average university campus every single day, I should know i buy a tea from there before every exam.
I love how all canadians think americans drink at Dunken Donuts xD I have never went there in my whole entire life... and I actually don't know anyone who does.
@sXeish Starbucks is good if you wan't to sit and surf the internet on your laptop. But Timmy's is way better for coffee & eating. Of course, it's ideal if it's cold outside. I can't drink coffee in SOCAL... Too hot for that! I'll stick with a Starbucks Frappucino.
@guitarmessiah95 they do is a lot of parts at least that's what I've read. I agree for a nice treat I go to starbucks besides that it's either Tim's or McDonald's coffee --Canada<3
Tim Hortons bakes there donuts in house but the dough is pre-made. Starbucks does not compare to Timmies. In Canada opening a Timmies is guaranteed to make money there is 4 within 5 min walking distance of my house and they are all overloaded with customers.
Been craving some timbits... We dont have McDonalds, Burger King, Tim Hortons, Star Bucks or all those others in Bermuda. As soon as I get outta that airport in Winnipeg, i'll be sprinting to the nearest one. Yummmm.
I love in PA. And ive heard of Tim horton's. Oh whatd I do to try some coffee. I may move close enough to the border or even in Canada for some timmies
The selection of donuts at Tim's is wider, and a nice touch that Tim's adds to the customer experience is that the donuts are upfront right in front of your eyes, rather than Dunkin which sets the donuts far away from you. Dunkin may have more name recognition in the U.S., however, once Tim's starts to spread in the U.S. market, quality will triumph. Dunkin has a lot of weaknesses and they'll be easy to exploit.
I'm a loyal U.S. citizen, born and bred, however, Dunkin Donuts has nothing on Tim Horton's. Dunkin's coffee and donuts are subpar compared to Tim's. Tim's coffee beans are handpicked by the executive management who actually travel to far flung locations to select the finest coffee beans for brewing.
Living a country away from Timmie's is killing me. I went to one when I was on vacation in BC and now I am never going back to Starbucks, Dunkin', or Dutch Brothers.
@SnobRoll Dunkin Donuts are nasty, they leave the donuts out ALL DAY LONG! That makes them dry, crusty, and stale. Tim Hortans serve fresher food and they're in the US too, i hope you know that!
I grew up in Ohio and I'm certainly aware of Tim Hortons. For a period of time, Wendy's (based in suburban Columbus) owned Tim Hortons. And through that ownership, they expanded rapidly in Ohio. While Wendy's is no longer associated with Tim Hortons, many of the stores remain. I suspect a large number of Ohioans, as well as Michigan residents, are very much aware of Tim Hortons. The chain is popular in Columbus. I now live in DC, but I must admit I miss old fashioned glazed Timbits.
Tim Hortons has a better atmosphere to that of Starbucks - at least I think so. Tim Horton's is a proper stop off before work and they are absolutely right in this exposé - it's the COFFEE that makes Tim Horton's good. It's certainly addictive coffee. Maybe combined with the donuts - that's what does it.
@MisterEvasion totally! Tim's customers are good old-fashioned family folx of all ages. I was at a Starbux once & I was sure 1/3 of the people there were gay! I felt so outta place & wanted to leave lickety-split!
Anybody remember when Tim's coffee and donuts were actually good? The donuts are now frozen and reheated and the coffee is paint stripper. McDonalds has better coffee now. How sad is that?
@jdulmage1 Dunno what robbins is, but here in Ont we have coffee time and country style as well = both gross. well country styles not that bad, but coffee time = EW
@MapleBalls That's funny because last year, someone in Ontario found a cockroach floating in their coffee. Ever since then, I have been going to Starbucks.
@MapleBalls i moved back to europe because i cant stand seeing a fucking tim hortons every 5 seconds in fucking canada. especially when tim hortons is disgusting, freshly baked? more like baked a week ago, frozen but reheated in an oven than sold. plus canada sucks.
look at the freeze frame at 4:43 .. went into a timmies for the first time in the states .. and thast exactly what i saw ..
it was a sunday morning ... when its usually busy in canada .. there was one family in the shop in erie, pensylvania .. and no one in the drive thru ... and they werent even having coffee .. they were having a pop or something in one of those fountain drink cups. just found it funny :P
why in god's name would we want americans to have tim horton's?! it's part of what defines us. every morning i go for a walk to tim's... partly for the walk, partly for the coffee at the end of the line, but most of all, because to me it's a nationalistic morning reminder of the country i'm living in, and why i'm damn proud of it!
@55ryosuke Not true, Americans and Canadians generally don't like real coffee. And thaat's why 7-11, gas stations and Rotten Ronnies sell so much of it. Watery, pissy garbage just like north american big brand beer. Call it coffee and people will buy it no matter what. If people actually liked coffee they wouldn't put sugar in it. It is commonplace in Canada to order a small coffee and ask for a double double. Which is of course slang for 2 heaping spoons of sugar and two large cream.
@tenorsopranosax He said the greatest nation from a consumer perspetive. That means that Americans consume more than Canadians most probably because they are lazy and have 10 X our population. stupid american
@permatroll and now they;re owned by themselves again dumbass, get your facts straight before you post dumass comments. well its not yur fault, i mean what else did people expect from a dumbass like yurself,. YOU GOT IT, "dumbass" comments.
I love how Americans and Canadians have these arguments when they are the exact same unless you consider some invisible line a significant difference.
I'm from Buffalo. Tim Hortons is the best thing ever, but no one says too much about their doughnuts- it's the coffee we love. And Buffalo loves Canada, too.
@The85GTMustang Yeah they do. I didn't even realize the dirty spoon water thing but then again I barely go to Hortons anyway. That's what seems to happen when you show the truth, they ban you.
@fLRedSpade Ye sorry bud, but timmies is taking over dunkin blownuts, and no my GF is from Mass, likes tims 100x better, bet ya havent even had timmies, ive had dunkins in boston,nh,ny and its all shit, coffees shit, flatbread sandwiches are shit, Their ice coffee is disgusting, aint even comparable to our Ice Caps.Only in Canada? have ya heard about the 12 dunkins being shut down in NYC all turned into Timmies , ull find the video on the right>> Timmies in NYC.
@fLRedSpade Firstly, NO one person invented the internet, MICROSOFT sucks for your information, ipads are big and useless, my ipod froze and apple's not helping me out.
WOW, what great inventions! I must say, THE FIRST COMPUTER was invented in BRITAIN and so was television, and the telephone was invented in CANADA. So, in other words America is not the country that has invented EVERYTHING.
You're one of the fools, that make America look bad.
Internet was created by a group of American scientists from around the world, britian, germany, etc during the "cold War". But you wouldnt know that because youre a dumbass.
The telephone was invented in AMERICA you stupid bitch.
A scottish man who moved to Canada, didnt do shit in canada, moved to the US and invented the telephone.
You're the reason i believe the world has their head too far up their ass
@fLRedSpade your a douche for related a feud over a donut shop to over 30 million people who wish Americans would just stop talking about us like we are nothing........we are sick of it.......just leave us alone and live in your own little world
I've had coffee from all around, and TH by far the best coffee you can get. A $ 1.50 cup compared to a $5.00 ass raping you get a starbucks. It's not because TH is Canadian do Canadian's buy it, it's because it's good coffee. I go to McDonald's and Burger King once and a while. I like the variety.
Typical self righteous, anti American sentiment by a Canadian. I guess we don't want anything American then? Like Iphones, Netflix, McDonald's, Subway, the light bulb etc...It's called a free market economy. Why wouldn't any Canadian business want to expand to the US if it was viable? Oh ya because according to your philosophy(probably brainwashed by the CBC) we should intentionally scorn the evil American capitalist empire for spite. Spoken like a true Canadian socialist!
@TheMissingTooth Actually other than the donuts the menu at Tim's is very healthy, they have hearty soups, bagels, chilli and baguette sandwiches, yogurt top with fruit and light fat free muffins. It is far more healthy than any other fast food chain other than maybe Subway.
Tim Horton's coffee give's me the shits! and the donuts are made from frozen dough!! go to Coffee time for a MUCH better cup of coffee and a REAL fresh donuts!!
@Myer58 Agreed I don't know what happened to Timmy's but I get sour gut drinking that luke warm shit. No more fresh bakes, and believe it or not Mcdonalds coffee isn't half bad the food still sucks, and I get $1 million dollars if I'm willing to pour on my crotch.
Tim Hortons needs to get back to what made them good before they turn into another canadian joke "How do you start a small business in Canada? Open a large one and wait".
the rest of canada makes way better coffee the people that work at tim hortons in halifax and dartmouth nova scotia are obnoxiously rude to their customers they can never get an order right.espically the tim hortons at 180 wise rd a young women was walking with here child through a parking lot she was struggling to get her child into the stroller the employee at tim hortons started yelling out the window at insinuating that she was miss treating child
WOW...Take it from this American...Tim Hortons is the BEST. Their coffee surpasses Starbucks (heck of alot cheaper too) their breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches are great, but their donuts are KING. One of my first stops when I travel to Canada is Tim Hortons. Be sure to grab some before you board the plane to return to the states. MMMMmmmmm!
Hahahahaha! Tim Horton's failed in the States, they had to close down multiple locations - it's proven its self to be strictly a Canadian thing, Eh.

We invented the internet, youtube, have microsoft, ipods, ipads, i can keep goiing.
What do canadians have? tim whoretits LMFAO
PATHETIC
fLRedSpade 11 months ago
@fLRedSpade Firstly, NO one person invented the internet, MICROSOFT sucks for your information, ipads are big and useless, my ipod froze and apple's not helping me out.
WOW, what great inventions! I must say, THE FIRST COMPUTER was invented in BRITAIN and so was television, and the telephone was invented in CANADA. So, in other words America is not the country that has invented EVERYTHING.
You're one of the fools, that make America look bad.
x0xMsL0velyx0x 11 months ago
@x0xMsL0velyx0x
I'll leave this here

Myer58 1 year ago
@Myer58 Agreed I don't know what happened to Timmy's but I get sour gut drinking that luke warm shit. No more fresh bakes, and believe it or not Mcdonalds coffee isn't half bad the food still sucks, and I get $1 million dollars if I'm willing to pour on my crotch.
Tim Hortons needs to get back to what made them good before they turn into another canadian joke "How do you start a small business in Canada? Open a large one and wait".

@Myer58 no sir. tim hortons cofee is the best.

villancico1976 1 year ago
the tim hortons in nova scotia sucks shit
the rest of canada makes way better coffee the people that work at tim hortons in halifax and dartmouth nova scotia are obnoxiously rude to their customers they can never get an order right.espically the tim hortons at 180 wise rd a young women was walking with here child through a parking lot she was struggling to get her child into the stroller the employee at tim hortons started yelling out the window at insinuating that she was miss treating child
villancico1976 1 year ago
This was filmed in Oakville, Ontario! I thought I recognized those Tim Hortons...

Hmmm... never mind the coffee, I think they forgot a few provinces.
CharityTCS 1 year ago
WOW...Take it from this American...Tim Hortons is the BEST. Their coffee surpasses Starbucks (heck of alot cheaper too) their breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches are great, but their donuts are KING. One of my first stops when I travel to Canada is Tim Hortons. Be sure to grab some before you board the plane to return to the states. MMMMmmmmm!
