This happened to a mate of mine just out of the blue: He landed his big Piper Super cub (~80"), wanted to taxi back and suddenly it went out of control due to a broken battery. It made several loops until it got stuck in high grass. But imagine this had happened a bit earlier or later in the air...

They both are Katana 70 from abel RC. Then Ohio models made the V2, Now I do not know if they are avelible.

Your right, other then wood and covering the only thing that was damaged was a striped rudder servo and it cut through the battery lead.
