Well that was the point of the whole game. As the years went by the virus become stronger and since people had to die first and then become "fighting machines" AKA zombies, they were sumb as dirt. However, if you have SMART zombie humans they'll be much more of fighting machines.

You know, I have to agree with you. While technically, it is a great game, great to look at, good gameplay. It just doesn't have the feel of Resident Evil at all. I've not been shocked by anything like I was in previous games, it's more like a third person action game. Frankly, it's just not scary, at all. I see plenty of survival, where's the horror? :/
