The first time I heard her sing I fell in love! Her voice makes her one of the sexiest women on earth. After I saw her sing she was even more captivating and still is today.
I was the saddest person on earth as soon as I got dumped a few months ago, but right after some surfing I discovered a totally free resource that taught me how to get her back! I need to share it with all the heartbroken fellas out there but youtube wont allow me post it here, so I put it on my profile. Hope it works for you too!
@bertraymon Tammy who? Sorry ~ I can't think of anyone I would pick over Emmylou Harris ~ I considered it for almost an hour. ELH has been the 'musical accompanist' to most of my life. I have 'carried' her with me since the late 1960s. It's difficult to separate my feelings of overwhelming heartfelt (and physical) attraction for her, my love for her incredible vocal skills and my respect for her father. If I were of higher stature in life, I would have pursued her years ago. Naw ~ Emmy's #1.
After I got dumped several months ago, I was the saddest guy on earth, but right after a little surfing I stumbled upon a free resource that taught me how to mend my relationship! I want to share it with all you broken hearts out there but youtube wont allow me post it here, so I put it on my profile. Hope it works for you too!
Good stuff, Laurie--Thanks! I'm a longtime fan of Emmylou. Of course, I couldn't stand to listen to this song (or 'Roses In The Snow') more than 12-15 times in a row. : )
I sure miss Charlie, The Superlatives are great , Vaughn is so tasteful and only shows off when it is tasteful. Kenny ,Pete Anderson and Redd Volkart are my favorite guitar players.
they are the best back up band you could ever ask for they are all stars in there own right......we love the this show and how they give us the good old country music shows...like the ones i went to see as a child promoted by Smokey Smith right here at the KRNT theater in desmoines IOWA ...it was great then and its great now
The Superlatives, week to week, prove themselves to be a top notch back up band for a far ranging array of country stars. As much as I like Herb, I think these guys do her justice. Thanks for all the great posts...
this beautiful lady just get's better and better and more beautiful with every passing day. she won my love many years ago, just to bad for me she don't know me lol, but i'll never stop loving Emmy and her music. great post. :)
Thanks Laurie. IIRC the harmony on her original was done by Jonathan Edwards, a tremendous singer. Unfortunately the guy on this vid is straining a bit. Nice to see her still out there. A trooper.
The drummer is not even straining on his vocals..(tenor)...did a beautiful job....n playing the drums 2 boot....tricky.

@ModGirl1967
Mike McDonald and she goes to the same hair dresser for that color. My hell raising kids hair turned my hair the color.

Emmylou Harris should have Herb Pedersen singing the male harmony part, since he was on the hit recording with her.
