@spadesofjoker Hardstyle revolved around the bass kick. There is a style of dance that goes with hardstyle called the hardstyle shuffle. So most hardstyle songs will have the hard kick but different synth sounds.

you hit the nail on the head. Hardstyle songs a really dependent on their primary beats (kick drum). The next trick for harstyle will be artists who can drop and change the kick drum mid song, or even changing the tempo up or down the kick drum, but that is going to be hard to do since any change makes the song out of wack.
