  • Ward-off Left and Ward-off Right differ that way. In Ward-off Right, the opponent is in front of you. In Ward-off Left, when he punches you would step a little left and attack sort of diagonally.

  • Very good, but I would like to ask - the first 'ward-off' movement: why do you advance side-ways? Surely, common sense should suggest that you should advance with the body facing forward, rather than at a 90 degree angle?
