Hm, I'm not sure. But it is very close to something called MikuMikuDance. I think thats was it really is it's just they used PMD editor, and another program (i forgot the name Dx) that smoothes it.

I've never liked the look of the 3DPV one and the MMD one always looked a little low poly to me.
