I agree Helens 60's voice IS different from later years. Some voices are exactly the same no matter what age they are, Karen Carpenter for one. I love all of Helens material.

I don't know what it is, but her voice is different then the 60's. Have heard several from the 70's and I acually like it better. Still love them all!

She's still around. I think she semi-retired only recently. Having sung with Humphrey Lyttelton's band and her own band, up until fairly recently, doing jazz and gospel as well as her pop hits.
