THANK YOU DEMOCRATS!!! For keeping racism a booming and prospering industry!!! Think job security!!!! Don't forget to call a Republican a racist today!!!
this message brought to you by the race baiting specialists of America or (D)
As much as despise Palin I think this video is a little deceptive. I think she does cater to racists, but the mere fact that somebody would yell racists comments at a rally can't be enough to label a campaign as "racist." If it were then any campaign could send operatives opposing rallies and create a controversy.
There are a variety of possible reasons why she wouldn't respond having nothing to do with condoning the comments.
You know that, I know that but there are millions out there who know that but pretend not to. Some of these attempts were exposed during the campaign. It's a liberal tactic. It's like Joe the plumber. Could you imagine John McCain openly ridiculing the average poor lib for asking a legitimate question? Thats where the race baiting would come in. Besides, I never knew a Republican who would stoop that low. It must be part of the Democratic job description.
Blacks often call each other "nigga" as a term of endearment. Obama is not berated because of his skin tone. (He is 1/2 white anyway) he is because of his failed policies.
Virtually no one says that any and all criticism of Obama is motivated by racism. But the right constantly makes the absurd allegation that this is what most Obama supporters are saying.
Personally, I can't stand Obama, but only a braindead idiot could fail to see that his race is a substantial factor in most of the highly virulent attacks on him. And by "braindead idiot" I mean most right wingers who think that because they don't directly address blacks as "niggers" that they're not racists.
No. What I said about the right was that they think the only requirement of not being a racist is that one not call black people "nigger" to their face. Most of the rank-and-file right wingers are deeply racist. Their manipulators couldn't care less about race they'll rob, rape and exploit anyone, regardless of race - we're all equally worthless to Wall Street. Only a person who has no familiarity with the culture of the US "heartland" could think there isn't a lot of racism.
I believe you are correct that Wall Street does not care about who people are...but it isn't supposed to. Each of us have the responsibility to make sure our trades are to our benefit. I am offended that when people disagree with a Black President, that somehow race was the decider.
You're not racist simply because you're a lib i guess right. I guess the next thing you're going to say is no president has been bashed harder than Obama. "Virtually no one says that any and all criticism of Obama is motivated by racism"------durrrrrrrrrr ok go see jenene garrafalo on keith olbermann talking about tea baggers. Maybe that will help you.
Who cares if Paiin heard it or not? The fact is that the Republican party attracts all the racist, backwood yokels for some reason. A smart Republican is like a Christian metal band, always defending themselves. Your smart friends don't get you. Your brethren folk don't understand all the big words.
We did. Maybe if your racist comrades would grow up and step into the 21st century instead of trying to bring the country back the 50's to restore segregation and McCarthyism, then we wouldn't have to point out just how indecent, bigoted, ignorant, self righteous, and morally corrupt you republicans are.
I didn't hear it either, with all the stupid distractions you put up. Where the hell was it? Did you think flashing that across the screen was funny? Sad. It seemed as if you were saying it instead of pointing out someone else. Anyway, poorly done, and not appropriate.
Sorry Larry! But with all the other videos without the bell covering it up, I assumed people have either seen it or they would look for the unedited video where you can clearly hear it. I urge you to check out the unedited version so you can see I did not make this up. I put up a link in the description for the original that I edited. The only text that I added was at the end of this video, the rest was in the original.
Just so you know, I didn't flag this video. I was disappointed, but that's as far as it went. I'll look for another unedited version. I'm just getting sick of Sarah's face.
By the way, I thought "Blazing Saddles" was a real hoot. I'm sorry you didn't let that ride until the "sheriff" said, "just let me whip this out." to the gasp of all the townspeople. That was really funny!
Well I didn't spend that much time editing this. I was trying to make a point, though. The people that won't vote for someone because they're black are like the people in Redrock. But, in time, they do realize they don't have to fear someone in power just because of their color.
Personally, I find it much more reasonable to judge people after you strip them of their name, heritage, ethnicity, race, "color", social status, sexuality, sex, and gender.
I despise Sarah Palin, but in fairness, she was concentrating on reading her speech and it's quite possible that she didn't hear any more than a voice shouting something unintelligible. On listening to the unedited version of this, that's all I could hear. If she did hear it, and didn't respond, then she's a worse bitch than I thought.
What to do, if she were a decent person, was to point out the individual in the crowd, tell that person publicly that racism has no place in American life, and ask security to escort the asshole from the crowd. But she hasn't the sense to do even that simple thing. This is a person some people want to be a heartbeat from the presidency? The prospect is frightening.

First you say "Virtually no one" on the right is calling people racist. Then you go on to do just....that.
Maybe the Messiah is just plain wrong! The economy surely says so!!!

With all the racism and hatred that goes on at these rallies, do you really think she hasn't heard a thing?
xveebabyx 3 years ago
As I said, if she did hear it and didn't respond, she's in accord with the racism. Another strike against her.
Largo64 3 years ago
I would have to agree.

It looked to me that she heard it and didn't know what to do.
