I've got a few favourite characters on A Song of Ice and Fire: Arya Stark, Jon Snow, Davos Seaworth and Jaime Lannister, but Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Stormborn are the best in my oppinion. I love them! This is one of the reasons I love Tyrion.

@NoellVague He was at the inn when Tyrion was arrested by Catelyn. He thought that if he came along to help the Tullys at the Vale he would get payed nicely (which is all sellswords really want). When Tyrion demands the trial by combat, Bronn knew that the Lannisters would pay much better because they're rich as shit. Which he was right about.

@martincassar It is at least in the paperback edition from 2003, though there he just begins talking about stuff like sleeping with whores and hating his family and a lot of things like that, it is kinda funnier in the tv series, but yes, it is included, though kinda different. Thereafter he says that he's confessing his sins, but that he can't confess the sin of trying to assassinate Bran Stark since he haven't done it.

@rkrokberg Aha, likewise. to be honest, when i got the book, Tyron's confession was what i was looking for right from the start! The book version is much more sober. There are also other parts that are different from the book, though I guess that, in a way, being more colourful in certain aspects is what makes the series so interesting. Needless to say, the books far outweigh the series (though HBO did one hell of a good job!)
