in my opinion i think Clockwork team would be much better if he switched ammy out. Since doom and Strider are "his" known fighters.strider and ammy both do lil damage and both have low health, but are both great assist. It seems to me when Doom dies Clockwork is crippled pretty badly. Dont get me wrong Striders is really good, i even have him in my team Cpt America, Strider, Sentinel. But he just does too lil damage and one slip up means death.

In Vanilla, Clockw0rk was running Doom, Amaterasu and PHOENIX. During that period, Phoenix was effectively unstoppable in the hands of a good player so even then, Fanatiq wasn't going to be closer to beating him as he was here.

@Machdude umm excuse me i was stating in this paricular match up if they never woulda screwed up some of mags normals fanatic would have easily took the match certain combos and resets arent possible now if so require even more skill which in turn could make them less viable during matches like this. also I believe fanatic woulda took it in vanilla as well pheonix was defeatable and still is in both version in even the best peonix players hands they're human.

because Clockwork was switching who he wanted on point. Hard tagging takes a second but it is one second easily exploited especially when the opponent is running MSS where they can easily clear out one character with full assists and combos. One of the biggest factors in MvC3 is who you want to be on point because that character is the one you want to have both assists active. In here, Clockw0rk isn't a zoner so Vajra was better for mix ups than hidden missiles.

Quick tip to answer the question about the air medium, the doom foot dive loop is design to work best in the corner, the air medium is the only way to chain to the crouching medium because of dooms combo archetype. So, basically if your at midscreen after the OTG you press air medium, air dash straight down, crouch medium chained to crouch heavy to special then repeat the normal loop that should carry them to the corner.
