You must have read my post in-correctly. I said toyota will make a new supra just to keep up with nissan. (Nissan has just brought out they're new R35 GTR). You get what i mean? As in toyota doesnt want nissan to hold the trophy for too long. Then porsche will have to bring out a new 911, etc etc.

@uptownphil both the rb26 and the 2JZ are powerful, very capable motors. I agree with you that the Supra is AS capable as the skyline however the driving reviews say the skyline is easy to drive... The Supras motor is larger than that of a skyline but the physics of both motors is relatively similar... When is comes down to it, either car can kick ass it also depends who is driving!

supra is rear wheel drive and the 2jzgte engine does have crazy amounts of hp if you spend the money on getting your car well over 1000hp but as i said;its rear wheel drive and the GT-R is all wheel drive..it has better traction making it easier to drive and the rb26dett engine is just as capable of 1000hp but it handles better than the supra

@RDGcelica1 Well the Supra and Skyline are direct competitors from the factory. The celica-Gts-t would be in the same class as the 300zxtt (except the 300zx weighs a lot more). The difference is also price. Anyone wanting a turbo could have gone and bought a GTS-t, but a Supra? same with the 300zx you will see on every corner, but how many skylines? The GTR and the supra are the flagship sportscars for both companies and are priced competitors as well.
