yall both did a good job. but to the bassist, try to use your pinky more, it'll make you alot faster and you'll be able to learn more stuff like this or (another bassist that's up on cliffs lvl) Campbell from Lamb Of God. Check out Redneck and you'll see what I mean. And big ups for playin with your fingers instead of a pick.

although, there is nothing wrong with using a pick. I play mostly fingerstyle, but if I know I can't play something fast enough with my fingers, I use a pick. It's just another style of playing.

Bassist needs to have more space between the fingers, like one for each fret because it seems you have difficulty with changing postistions fast :) also use your little lefthand finger. the more space and more fingers you use the more control you have of a bass-guitar. youtube: "jaco pastorius lesson" the 2nd one.. ino he's jazz :) but it was helping me :)

Ummm... Train hard! :D For example I play at least 2 hours every day, sometimes even more. Make your own warm up and training techniques and play them every day. And discover your instrument, try to always look for something new, which keeps your inspiration from running out. And never think you're a good guitarist, 'cause there is always something you could get better on.

Im pretty sure its an ephiphone, if its a gibson it sounds very dull for something worth £1000 (no offence to playing you guys covered this great). So if its epihpone its what £220? Not hard to save up for isit.
