He only does clinic shows. He doesn't have a band to play his rhythm. So he just goes up with backing tracks at Guitar Shops. He will probably get a band one day, but right now I think he is focused on Rob Zombie. They tour allot. Oh and their new album just came out too.

opening riff sounds VERY similar to "we die young" by alice in chains. Not criticizing, just saying.

Similar, yes, but not the same at all. And this is played in drop D, I'm not sure if We Die Young is.

Also this riff is "Cleaner" as in played more smoothly, and it's got a completely different main riff than We Die Young.

It's much easier to understand almost any riff that John 5 Plays a little easier than anything that Alice In Chains plays, because they were part of the grunge scene:Sloppy music thats sounds good. John 5 plays Riffs perfectly, and makes sure there's no mistakes.

he wasn't really forced out, but they just had different plans, it was more mutual, but it all happened after an event on stage where john got kicked in the chest by manson on accident and they got into a small fight on stage, but yeah

Wasn't the kick that triggered it. The reason he got so pissed was that he had gone through some emotional stuff with someone in his family dying. And Manson were going through some stuff, so there were some tension on that tour. He left cause he wanted to do different things and they didn't fit together.
