Fishing in Flamingo

I know the spot. I caught an 80+ lb. tarpon there on outgoing tide a few years ago. There was a lot of small baitfish in the water that day. Great video.

I grew up in flamingo. My father would take me when I was 5 year's old. the road to Flamingo was dirt, we had to bring boards to get across washouts on our way to Flamingo. Lostmans river was great . Everytime I go to middle cape I clean off the Grave sight of the Ranger's monument. the last time I was there someone had left their lunch of Stone Crab's all over the Grave Sight. The big croc's come out at night there,we saw one that went about 18ft, longer than my 16ft Hewes. I love this place.
