That island on tanaris is not a secret place...you have to go there on a mission(Aq open gates event) the quest is still in the game

The way into old IF is a strange way but i figured it out. First go into Iron Forge and go under the stairs into that corner where you can duel somebody and then mount up and run into the circle room where the Griffin drops you off and take a left as soon as you get in that room and there should be a fire and behind it a countertop kind of place and jump on it and ull need the person you dueled to fear you if hes a lock or Sheep you if hes a mage. Thats the way i did it good luck.

You can still do it, you need a chopper mount or a 2 man mount, get on it then have your friend who's driving to go to the king of IF, stand outside the room, and on your left there is a big metal door, get him to drive to it and jump off as soon as you get there or you'll dismount, and your there.

u can get to emerald dream in older versions of wow, you can get in by the 4 portals that are in felwood, ugoro center, and some other places.

the portals are guarded by a dragon, but now the portals dont work no more
