Legionaire send Aklys, pop 2, set Icarus, chain next turn to pop another 2. 4 card play that cost you 3, always + 1 with this play.

If i may ask, what about using vortex the whirlwind with a 2 or 3 tuner to get barcha or trident? ideas?

i dont see anyone mentioning the 10 star synchro potential of dragunities

when i play them i go for the otk

pop aklys and phalanx into the graveyard

get dux into your hand

synchro for vajrayana

vajrayana for barcha(no idea how no one has mentioned the potential of this card)

get aklys on him with phalanx pop a card and summon trident dragion

could be otk with right set up

if not with ravine up repeat the process

@thundergrave No one has mentioned the potential of Vajrayana into Barcha because they have read the card. If you read Dragunity Knight - Bracha's text it says you have to use a Dragon/Tuner and Non-Tuner Winged Beasts to make him. So you can't use Vajrayana (A Dragon) to go into Barcha. And even if you had Barcha out with Aklys equiped, if you synchro Barcha and Phalanx for Trident Dragion then you DO NOT get Aklys's effect because for his effect to go off Barcha would have to stay on the field

@slipknot09atforum Nope. The ruling on Aklys is that for his effect to work the monster he was equipped to has to remain face-up on the field when Aklys goes to the graveyard. If the monster is destroyed and Aklys is as a result then the effect doesn't work. Sadface...

@PhoenixFlareX what if my opponent's foolishly use icarus attack on aklys and Dux (which has axlys as it's equip) they both destroyed at the same time so will aklys effect resolve?

When I met my friend, he played Six Samurais and I ran Dragunitys. He had Shi En, Gateway, Magatama and Kagemusha on the field. I had Dark Hole and Legionnare in my hand and Aklys in the graveyard. I use Dark Hole; Shi En's first effect to negate. Summon Legionnaire and equip Aklys to him. Use his effect to pop and Shi En; Magatama. Aklys to destroy Shi En; his second effect, destroying Kagemusha. I was like: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

@bubblerapification If you remove Legionnaire for Leyvaten's summon then you do not get Aklys's effect. The Legionnaire has to be on the field when Aklys goes to the grave to count as "Sent while Equpped"

@CitrusJuicebox Nah, Mystletainn isn't one of those good all around cards. It's just kinda a "helps me be winning more" card. It doesn't really help your setup except in a few occasions and if you draw into it it doesn't really save your game, it just helps you be winning a tiny bit more than you were last turn.

@PhoenixFlareX i dont get why nobody likes it.. its a free vajrayana imo, except for the doubled attack effect.. atleast if u have a dragunity except him in the hand and phalanx in the grave...

@TeamDarkDesireAT Because it's a floater that doesn't save your game if you draw it. The general rule for top-teir decks if if you are running a floater then it has to be something that gives you a massive advantage or comeback. And this isn't one of those cards, it's simply a "make me win more" card. It rapes your hand advantage to mimic Vajrayana and if you topdeck it late game and you are already losing then it isn't going to save your game where as a spell/trap you run in his place could.
