broken graphics

hey when i play my pc game its called shrek superslam my windows is broken and i have to restartet but when it goes in the accounts cuz i have 2 my graphics are bad but when i restarted it again evrethyng is back to normal and that problem is only in that game

The exact same thing happened to me when I was on Google.ca.But when I un-plugged the computer and re-started it again every thing went back to normal! Was it the graphics card or do you think it was just a virus. PLEASE RESPOND!!

@NikkiDogLeader Well, normally its the Hardware's fault. Simply check by swapping for a spare card. The Computer in the video ran perfectly for another 3 years after putting in a new one.

lol i had a video card that did this but it worked fine for about 15 minutes then the screen went black then lines appered then colered squares triangles everything u could think of i kept the video card for quite a while because i found its acid trips fascinating :)

oh well. i bought it for 2 bucks in a swapmeet so returning it would kinda cost more in gasoline than the damn card anyway. thanks for replying btw.

I got the same problem on vista with HD 2900 XT, its old 1 year ffs! and it started breaking down when i tried to play hitman contracts on vista, few mins in gameplay and bam... screen goes flickering, I never did overclocking! and never will, shet i dont know whats the problem and how to fix it, I dont want to waste my time ordering new one...

Sigh, i have the exact same problem. Graphics card makes screen looking all shit with lines of grainy stuff. ANNOYING ! ARGH!

My Geforce 9800GT used to do that so i destroyed it and saved up really really hard to get a 4GB one
