i think its easy (or easier) to tell them apart because they want to be different by the outside. i guess when they wouldnt want the ppl to tell them apart, no one from the fans would have a chance:) they said at RingCon after i asked if the other actors from HP can tell them apart; Oliver said; its very different, some were able to do that after a few months, some arent to do that after 10 yrs

I can tell the difference in their faces James's is more of a circle and Oliver's is longer. Also I think Oliver's voice is deeper. So James is in black and Oliver is in blue. I hope this helps people who are confused. :)

I think it was harder to tell when they were younger, but if you take a good look at them you can tell them apart- like, James' features are farther apart and softer whereas Oliver's are more centered together and slimmer (if that makes any lick of sense lol)
