I know this has nothing to do with the great Golden Age Books, but I was trying to figure out what was playing in the back ground. I believe it is "Last of The Mohegans" with Daniel Day Lewis. Great movie! He was even better in The Gangs of New York as Bill the Butcher.
@UnkwonTv That would be the ultra rare Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 1939. It was a promotional movie theater giveaway which never went into mass print aside from a few advance copies for a few select theaters. Only around 10 or so are known to exist.
I love seeing your HG books. I mainly collect HG BA stuff buts it's really nice to see your war time books. I do have quite a few GA books but I mainly collect the in the crime SOTI genre. I've unfortunately sold off quite a few of my SA books, such as TOS 39, JIM 83, Hulk 1. They were all mainly lower grades, 3.5 to 4.0s so it wasn't too hard to let them go with the hopes of upgrading at a later date. Keep the videos coming
Nooooo not graded comics man that is a disgrace to a comic book. Comics are to read not to look at in a hard case. But anyway you do have some very nice comics and it great condition as well. Me myself id just take them out of the graded package and read them.
@Nosfeast Disgrace??? CGC has brought this hobby into the big leagues and u want to change that? Ever been ripped off online on something expensive that turned out to be badly misrepresented? Wanna know what that feels like? Before CGC, silver age books never broke $100k but it happens a lot now. Put your money where your mouth is and buy a several thousand dollar CGC book and crack it out and enjoy it on camera. CGC=consumer confidence=greater return.
That wasn't me as I have never tried negotiating this book with anyone. Most people who try to make offline offers for my books are almost always jackoffs ( wankers) who don't have any money. Most of these aren't really 4 sale anyway.
Keep in mind that when the very early issues were printed, the US and Japan were not in the war yet hence the German covers. I think the first Japanese cover might be #13.

Big fan of your videos dude. You have some great books! I'd almost kill for a Golden Age Cap!
Animalvader1 3 years ago
Japenese sounds new for Cap. America usually the covers for him are german...or at least the first two issues were Hitler German-related.
