I am really confused at 3:25. The first time you say "U" you turn the top half 1/4 turn clockwise; then when you get to "U(prime)" you turn the top half 1/4 turn counter clockwise; but the second time you say "U(prime)" you turn the top half CLOCKWISE again. ??? Your moves in the video do not match up with the printed algorithm.
@ifutureman Well, to be completely honest I dont even remember how to solve this cube anymore. But you are right, I did make a mistake there and probably a few other places. Just use the Corner swapping alg, it does what I was trying to do there. Sorry!
@ifutureman : I just realized that I wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out how this video was incorrect...according to your post. Guess what? It's not wrong! His algorithm matches exactly what he says. Maybe you should have spent more time actually watching the video instead of criticizing it. His explanation may be a bit tough to follow at times, but his advice is correct.
@thepuzzledmagician the guy who made the video acknowledged that he messed up a little, and what he says does not match what his hands do during the sequence that starts at 3:25. Everything I said was accurate.
when i am slotting corners to solve the top, i sometimes have that they edge corners correnspnd with their colors instead they are not the same so when i slot the corner i get the piece in the right spot but it is turned
For the middle layers, this video was really good. For the last 2, I wasn't able to follow anything at all. It might just be me, but I think the later part of the video was kind of lacking.
No Thank you, I learned how to solve it by watching your tutorial. I use your way to also solve a mod 3x3x5. your meothed with a couple of others i made. theres no tutorial on a 3x3x5
To cycle the last three edges,, one side is solved and the other 3 need to be moved. Do this alg and it will solve it in one to two times. Put Solved side on RU, start R / U2/ R/ U'/R/U/R/U2/R/U2/R/U/R/U'/R
Thank, but now i dont really cube much at all. and this was a method i came up with very soon after the 3x3x4 came out, at least the mass produced one. my method is in no way the fastest or most efficient. but thanks
