a banca takes 10 hours to sail a distanece of 100 nautical miles with the current. Againts the current, it takes the banca 25 hours to sail the same distance. Find the rate of the current.

10 hours -> 100 nautical miles with current

25 hours -> 100 nautical miles against current

100/10 = banca moves 10 knots with current

100/25 = banca moves 4 knots against current

Current rate is 6 knots? Of course, in reality, there's wind involved ;).
