Thanks to this guy, they're much better now. It's still an issue that when you "top up," it doesn't automatically restart the plan, so you have to call them to do that, but I've never had a problem reaching someone to do that, and one call to them per month is worth it for all the talk time I need plus unlimited text and web for only 25 bucks. I'm a former verizon customer who always paid over 100/month on an alleged 50/month plan, so I'll probably be w/ VM forever -- like the guy who sued!!
Why in the hell would anyone even use Virgin Mobile?
If u live in canada and is a university student, the best deal at this time is the Koodo mobile "no contract" serving, or the "unlimited talk" plan from Rogers.
I also called them to add money to my 60.00 a month unlimited everything, pay as you go account. 3 Days later im told that im out of air time minutes!! Come to find out, They Never proccessed the Money i added to it, as a Monthly Package Plan. They only added it as regular airtime minutes. I emailed them right away, and i was emailed back, being told that the problem has been resolved. Well it wasn't because they Never refunded me my $60.00!!!
when i first signed up I told them i did not want my credit card saved on file. I even stated on my account that i do NOT want them having accsess to it. Turns out i get a letter a month later saying that if i dont put money into my PAY AS YOU GO Account, they would automaticaly deduct it from my credit card! And forget about trying to talk to a Human Person to resolve your issues.
Ghey story, shitty reporting, overreacting retard customer. That phone is like 4 years old, and the advertising was probably dated. No company is perfect, but virgin mobile is way better than most, and people that exploit these stories for cheap ratings deserve to be drug out into the street and shot

virginmobile is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are also total thieves. be warned. They turned off my phone for nothing and kept my minutes and my cash. The workers on the other end of the line are the stupidest people I have ever talked to.
yah me and my brother have vrgin moblie cell phone .yah we got it once and then they broke adn then got new phones form them they broke again we had the same promble 4 times .
The lawsuit was settled in July 2006, so the website is long gone. If you have a Virgin Mobile cell phone, just keep an eye on VM to make sure you're not being screwed by any of their promotions and conditions. At one time or another, ALL cell phone companies jack us around because they can't get hordes of new customers, so they have to try and nickel and dime everyone. Virgin Mobile hasn't promised these services for a long time.
The K7 handset is old they DID offer $10 (even $20) at the time the new handsets don't even promise this and yes service calls are free now.

I got my 7.50 back when they had that refund deal.
So they are trust worthy.
Also all their new phones that give you money DO!
I got an Oyster recently and although not a new customer they gave me $10 plus $2.50 for registering online.
I bet if the dipstick who sed had activated online he'd have gotten his $10.
As for their phones blame Kyocera, Maker of cheap plastic phones for Virgin AND Cricket!
