Also No Outside Life is applicably true. But inherently mmos are a very social experience & much healthier in that sense I suppose as compared to single player games that also cause an individual to deny more valuable real life social interaction. I personally don't get what's so good about WoW, I've watched the vids, seen people play, watched my real life friends get sucked into it (along with their parents and sister o_O) I played on a private server and never once found out why people pay for it.

It's good, just not THAT GOOD, It's only number one cause it offers a lot of content and constantly updates and has a bunch of promotions but it does make you have no life.

Its hard to explain, but let me try. Its not The state that WoW is in now, but rather the State it was in when it was realeased that Caused its popularity. It was a very polished release with a huge fan base, & an even huger exodus of mmo players coming from other mmos that made it so famous. Personally I think pre-cu SWG was & always will be a better game but thats not around anymore. Wow is a great game to many, & most prefer an offical wow server than free private ones.

ok lets try and clear the air here the attraction to this game is it looks like WoW and works like WoW but its free other than the cash shop WHICH IS OPTIONAL you never have to pay to play unless you really want to and the $15 per month that your saving can be used to take your girl to the movies or whatever you may want to do with it so maybe it is a WoW knockoff maybe not but change isnt a bad thing and dont knock it till you try it cuz im downloading it now and looking forward to playing

yeah but wow is expensive now :P not the 15 bucks a month but if your new to it you've gotta buy, the actual game, the burning crusade xpac, the wrath of the lich king xpac, and then the actual subscription (after the free month that is) in the 2 years i played wow i added up about 350 dollars spent.
