I miss this tonight with fruit preserves (I didn't use very much per bun), and this was amazingly good. Very surprised the flavors went together so well (all the salty + sweet). All you really need is a flat iron skillet to prepare these well. The last steaming step can also be skipped if you just lightly spoon chicken broth around the hot dogs at the end, in place of the steaming.

I tried making something similar to this just now, and it was the greasiest sandwich I ever had. It was totally drenched in fatty oils from the hot dog and melted chesse lol. Dont get me wrong I love greasy foods, but this was ridiculous. haha I guess I probably didnt do it right or something, but it still was still pretty good.

Do you follow this video step by step? When he showed how to make it? That is what my dad did. He brought the whole computer upstairs so he could do it the same. My dad adds a bun on the top to make like a sandwhich!

Try living in scotland, some of the chip shops around here will deep fry anything for you, such as pizza to make a "pizza crunch" they will deep fry a mars bar, or any chocolate bar, and will deep fry your burger its sick haha, although all very tasty i might add, and im built like a stick so dont worry about it, just keep fit XD

I live in Chicago so I pretty much got all the ingredients. You really need Vienna hotdogs and good quality buns and if you can't get fresh strawberry jam just use smuckers. It was delicious Oh and get really good swiss cheese.
