  • Spikes disease is not specific to Border Collies.

  • Beverly had an mri scan in February 2009 at Stone Lion's in Wimbledon, London, they have not been able to figure out exactly what is the matter with her. She is taking Fenobarbital and has less seizures now. They think it might be a kind of epilepsy. A seizure can last from 3-30 minutes but are never more dramatic than this, no loss of consciousness, no chewing or foaming at the mouth. She is leading a perfectly normal life and only has maybe one or two a month these days.

  • Spikes disease is specific to Border Terriers. Get her checked for epilepsy
