XD, thats the band that made him famous. Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Check out "Future Man" the main percussionist, and also Victor's brother. Future man is the one who got Victor n the band. Also, the demonstration was not bad taste, t was showcasing one of the guitar players odd talents (one of the Bela Fleck trademarks) and make it fun by throwing Victor in it. Trust me, these guys are all AMAZING musicians, even if you don't like their music.

OK, I know these people, and I appreciate Victor Wooten's playing a lot. But I don't like so much to see him playing like this. Well, we all know he is one of the best bass players but here it's like he's just saying, "hey, listen to me, I am the best, the fastest guy in town". He once said his master and main influence was James Jamieson because he thinks the groove in music remains essential. So, here's not so groovy. This can happen sometimes. I'm sure they should say it themselves.

I think the problem is just the guitar strings are really to thin to do the kind of slapping he's trying to do, so it just kinda sounds like noise at some times. Still impressive in terms of sheer technical skill though.
